Know why your traffic changed
Numative is a privacy-friendly analytics platform that also tracks changes to your site. Page edits, backlinks, mentions and Google updates show up on the chart next to the traffic they affected.
Most tools stop at the line. The spike on Aug 5 is yours to investigate.
Numative records the cause. The Hacker News post behind it was found minutes after the first click.
Everything that happened, on one chart
Page changes, mentions, backlinks and Google updates sit under the chart on the day they happened.
Every change to your site is recorded
Edits show up on your chart the same day. A deploy hook or the WordPress plugin records the exact minute.
Each change keeps the before and after, down to a word-level diff of the content.

Install the snippet or connect GA4
The snippet is one line. No cookies, no stored IP addresses, and visitors can't be followed across sites or days.
<script defer src="https://app.numative.com/numative.js" data-site="YOUR_SITE_ID"></script>
Or connect Google Analytics read-only and use the same dashboard without touching your site.
Collect through your own domain to keep ad blockers from hiding visitors: automatic on WordPress, one CNAME record anywhere else. Imports bring your history from Plausible, Fathom, GA4 or Umami.

Quick answers
Do I need a cookie consent banner?
The tracker sets no cookies and stores no personal identifiers, so it doesn't create a consent requirement by itself. Many teams run it without a banner.
Can I keep using Google Analytics?
Yes. Connect GA4 read-only and Numative shows your existing data in the same dashboard.
What counts toward the pageview limit?
Only pageviews from verified human visitors. Custom events, clicks, errors, speed measurements and bot traffic are free.
What happens if I go over my limit?
You move up one size, prorated, and we email you. Nothing is dropped and there's no overage bill.
How long is my data kept?
Aggregated traffic history is kept forever on every plan. Raw detail for breakdowns, filters and journeys is kept 12 to 120 months depending on plan size.
Can I import history from my current tool?
Yes, from Plausible, Fathom, GA4 or Umami. Imports are reversible, and you can export your raw events any time.
Does it work with WordPress?
The plugin installs the snippet, records publish times, captures AI crawlers server-side and puts the full dashboard inside wp-admin.
Is there a free trial?
14 days with the full product and a 1M pageview allowance. No credit card required.
